The two students participating in the organization of this inaugural high school tournament are two International Baccalaureate (IB) students, Jacopo Tosato and Gianpaolo Pietribiasi, involved in a CAS project.
WHAT IS CAS (Creativity, Action, Service)?
The CAS requirement is a fundamental part of the IB programme and takes seriously the importance of life outside the world of scholarship, providing a refreshing counterbalance to academic studies. The students involved must complete a minimum 50 hours of Creativity, Action and Service each, or else they won't achieve the International Baccalaureate diploma.
The main organizer is Gregory A. Cotier.
